Everthing began in a tiny garage in California. The man named Bontrager, with his motto of "strong first, light second", changed the field of bicycle racing forever. The average racing bike at the time was built for speed, but tend to not always hold up to the tension put on the frames. Unfortunately, on this planet of racing, if people want to have a chance at winning a race, you need to first make it to the final of the race. Should your breaks down, you might have zero chance. That is definitely where Bontrager separates itself on the rest of the competition. The various and equipment designed and built by Bontrager are many years ahead of the rest. They take their frames and other parts seriously and set their name threatened by building their products to last. Strength, before speed!
It may sound amazingly crazy, the entire line of products sporting the Bontrager name, actually began in, well, the garbage. While looking at a dumpster stuffed with garbage one day twenty six years ago, the man that started everthing spotted a few old motorcycle rims lying inside heap. Thinking, keep in mind about what use he will make of someone else's trash, Bontrager did start to tear down and refabricate them. The consequence was the lightest, toughest, and largest bicycle rims ever produced. These rims just needed a frame to place them on. So now a frame was built. From a garbage dumpster in California in 1984, the Mountain Bike was born.
Bontrager parts and accessories are built to last
Bontrager parts are not only found groundbreaking, but reliable and different. The clamp style fork crown which is attaching the suspension to your frame on almost every you see traveling or in a store, made, developed and patented by Keith Bontrager in 1986. They are acustomed on nearly every bike on the market still to this day!
Even tires are better when you buy them from Bontrager. Before when racers lowered their tire pressure to boost handling, they would should be very careful not to lower it an excessive amount of, for too long, because of pinch-flats'. Then the rim would pinch the inner tire's tube, causing it to puncture, or cut down. Bontrager had all the flats it'd stand. Now the company creates a tire that combines the rim, that has a low pressure, tubeless, tire. You can forget flats caused by air pressure being low.
Whether you need to race, have fun, or both. If you would like parts that are built right, developed to last and built from the best, Bontrager is the last name you need to ask for. Period!
